Welcome to my webpage.
I work in the Department of Ecology, Environment and Evolution at La Trobe University, where I conduct research on the effects of fire and landscape changes on biodiversity. This site highlights my current research projects and publications. If you have any questions or queries, feel free to contact me using the details at the bottom of the page.
Last year, Kristin Semmens, an honours student in our lab, working in conjunction with Steve Griffiths, myself, the Mornington Shire Council and suite of community members installed a bunch of chainsaw-cut hollows around Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. We tested their thermal efficiency and how well they provided for native animals. A summary of some of the initial results can be seen in the brochure below.
