I work in the Department of Ecology, Environment and Evolution at La Trobe University, where I conduct research on the effects of fire and landscape changes on biodiversity. The Mallee Fire and Biodiversity Project is one of three finalists in the 2016 Australian Museum Eureka Prizes for Environmental Science. The project has been instrumental in providing scientific information which guides fire management and shaped changes to the Victorian government’s fire management policy.
